As a dedicated, marketing professional and young woman in business, Ms. Yavela serves as Marketing Manager for Stonebridge. Bringing over seven years of marketing field experience and expertise, Katherina is responsible for overseeing the firm’s entire marketing department and leading the its marketing strategy, enhancing its brand, and orchestrating omni-channel marketing campaigns. To further drive the value of marketing, she regularly conducts extensive market research and actively monitors market and industry trends to scale content creation abilities and pursue various promotional opportunities for the firm.
Working with multiple teams, including Executive Leadership, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Relationship Management, Katherina applies a customer-centric approach to our firm’s marketing to authentically tell the Stonebridge story and build brand awareness. She is also an active member of the American Marketing Association and the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota.
Having joined the firm in 2022, Katherina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, with a minor in French, from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul in 2016. Currently, she is pursuing her Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Designation, in an effort to attain a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) Designation within the coming years, before she turns 30.
Alongside her linguistic capabilities – trilingual in Russian, French, and English, with a goal to learn Italian (also before she turns 30) – Katherina is passionate about growing and giving back to her community; this includes efforts that involve animal welfare, poverty and malnourishment alleviation, arts and culture, and education. She supports a variety of nonprofit organizations, such as Nexus Family Healing, Small Sums, Secondhand Hounds, the Museum of Russian Art, and Open Arms of Minnesota – with whom she also serves as a member of its Moveable Feast Committee.
Outside of the office, Katherina enjoys spending time with friends and her rescue pup, Louie Butters, going to the opera and stand-up comedy shows, and playing tennis and the occasional round of golf.
